I’m sure Marchionne will have a problem with that order.

Or maybe the guy who sent the order, had too much Martini at lunch and sent the order for Seats instead of Fiats. Sounds the same, right?

Well, to be fair, FCA doesn’t really have anything worth while in this segment anymore, in Europe. Maybe the old Giulietta, but that’s rather old now. And pricier than a Seat Leon.

That’s a bit irrelevant, after all his struggle to turn around FCA, and the commitment to keep Maserati and Alfa production in Italy, his own people couldn’t find a solution to help the group a little?

Even the Jeep Renegade would’ve been an option.

Renegades are too small/tall/slow/inefficient/heavy, compared to the larger Seat Leon. It’s a subcompact crossover versus a compact hatch or wagon, I’m not sure which version of the Leon they picked. The same can be said about the 500X.

It says in the last caption of the video “The vehicle is made in Martorell and adapted in Italy with the necessary equipment to make it road ready for the police including armour plating ”.

How many of them are armour plated?
